Profile pictures for social media and apps
A profile picture is often shown smaller than you think. It needs a clear gaze and a calm background, not an elaborate setup.
Portfolio, website, author page
Creatives, authors and self-employed people get a portrait that fits their own work and lasts for years.
Outdoors or in the studio
Outdoors in the old town and on the Schlossberg the light of the city does the work. In the studio on Riegeler Straße the light is controlled, and on request there is a different background (€30).
How a portrait session works
You do not need to be able to do anything except be there. The guidance takes care of the rest.
A short talk beforehand
What is the picture for, what impression should it make, outdoors or in the studio? Two, three minutes, ideally before the appointment.
Location, light and outfit
Outdoors the light depends on time of day and weather; in the preliminary talk we settle what fits. We choose the outfit together from what you bring.
Shooting with direction
For every shot we tell you what to do: head, shoulders, gaze. You do not need to know how to pose.
Selection on screen
The shots are viewed straight away. You decide which pictures get edited.
Retouching and delivery
Natural retouching where skin stays skin. The finished pictures arrive digitally, as express within two hours if you wish (€50 per image).
Preparation: clothing, light, expression
Clothes you feel good in
A portrait shows how you feel in your own skin. Choose clothes you like wearing, plain or finely patterned rather than small-scale patterns. Bring two outfits.
Bring some time
Arrive without a rush. If you arrive in a rush, it shows in the picture.
Make-up and hair
A make-up artist can be added (€120). Otherwise: the way you feel comfortable on a good day. Do not try anything new the day before.
Say what the picture should be
Calm, strong, friendly, serious? The more precisely you describe it in the preliminary talk, the more targeted the shooting.

Scope and prices
All prices are final prices: as a small business under § 19 UStG we do not charge VAT.

- Yes. A background change in the studio costs €30, a make-up artist €120.

- An application photo follows the expectations of an industry, a portrait follows you. Application photos start at €89 and are on the home page with all packages.
